Lotus Credit is a parallel effort and sister entity of Pillars 4 Dignity.
Lotus Credit is founded on the basic principles of providing impact investment to women who need it the most. The purpose of Lotus Credit is to aid unbankable women who would typically not qualify for a traditional loan or have the ability to obtain financial backing themselves. Lotus Credit enables an unbankable woman to become credit worthy for interim loans till bankable and provide financial independence.
Lotus Credit is an impact investment platform, and has been founded in response to a real-time journey of a world where gender, equality, prosperity inclusivity, and access to finance has become a grave concern. The onslaught of COVID-19 increased the gap wider, leading to a steep road toward 2030 to fulfill the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Over the last 20 years, we have worked within the public and private sector, educational institutes, and organizations to better integrate the role of social impact into impact investment and programmatic activities. To truly leverage all of those lessons learned, we are co-creating Lotus Credit platform to help to turn a deep understanding of what works and what doesn’t into actionable tools for those ready to jump in as partners, investors to change the world for the unbankable, and for under-represented communities, especially women, to have access to seamless finance through social projects, job placement, life skills and sustainable business development.
Where the financial industry mainly focuses on men and bankable women, Lotus Credit is built by women for underserved, under-represented unbankable women.
How we do it: We are an impact empowering platform. We create programs and platforms that maximize impact, meet financial expectations, and work towards scale.
Our intention is to flow capital from the community towards underserved women owned small businesses, through new models of investing in social change and lending to small businesses and nonprofits.
The New Model for Investing in Social Change: Bold visions, innovative enterprises, and great programs deserve the opportunity to succeed. But the small businesses powering these programs are often severely underbanked – many successful businesses that are hiring, training, and serving their communities have trouble getting access to affordable capital. Until now.
Lotus Credit is a unique opportunity to help women-owned small businesses grow and build a thriving, diverse economy.

“Having the courage to step outside of your comfort zone and educate yourself on how to manage your own finances is a huge high and something that is critical to personal growth and freedom. For me, it was a personal choice for my son to understand that a woman can do anything a man can, and for my daughter to realize and recognize her place in this world is an important one.”
— Farrah Ahmad
“Financial independence is paramount. My mom always says that when a woman is financially independent, she has the ability to live life on her own terms. I think that was the soundest advice that I ever got. No matter where you go in life or who you get married to, you have to be financially independent — whether you use it or not,”
— Priyanka Chopra, actor
“I truly believe that women should be financially independent from their men. And, let’s face it, money gives men the power to run the show. It gives men the power to define value. They define what’s sexy. And, men define what’s feminine. It’s ridiculous,”
— Beyoncé, singer-songwriter
“When money flows into the hands of women, who have the authority to use it, everything changes — for women, their families, and their communities,”
— Melinda Gates, philanthropist.
