Ayesha (“Eye-sha”) is 11 and a future change-maker and philanthropist. She lives in Montgomery County, Maryland and is finishing up 5th Grade at Spark Matsunaga Elementary school. Her dream college is NYU since she fell in love with New York City and the busy chaos of the city. Her hobbies include playing the piano, tennis, swimming, playing with her dogs, Hunter and Simba, dancing, art, baking, eating and traveling. She is learning how to speak Bengali and Hindi and also wants to learn Spanish and French.
Ayesha has her own cake business called “Cakes by Ayesha” where she bakes for kids at orphanages on their birthday. Her mom has taken her to orphanages and women’s shelters in Maryland where they donated clothes and toys. When she’s older Ayesha would like to volunteer at an animal shelter since she loves all animals.
Ayesha is a Youth Ambassador at Pillars 4 Dignity because she thinks it’s important to be able to spread awareness to young girls and boys about women who have been abused and mistreated. She wants to make a real change in the world where women being treated unfairly is a not even an option. Ayesha would like to be a human right’s lawyer and fight for women’s rights to make the world a better and safer place for all. Ayesha believes that whatever boys can do, girls can do better! She has always been told to be herself and although she is young, she is fierce and ready to make a difference.
